    Abstract

In South-Korea, since a year 2000, interest in education for the gifted children has been expanding and growing. However a main direction for education is hardly neither systemized nor unified, and differs in its level and quality depending on management sources- institutes or teachers, etc. For managing and controlling in quality of education, objective system for evaluation and inspection is necessary, along with a goal and systematic method for approach in education for the gifted. In this research, among various subjects of arts, focus of research is on music education for the gifted children. Understanding on a present paradigm of educational system will give an opportunity to look at a strength and weakness, and possibly suggest a new direction for the better
